The Lithuanian Platform Workers’ Trade Union (LPDPS) was launched in May 2025. It is the result of a merger between the former Courier Association and the Bolt drivers, who were seeking recognition of their labour relations.
The LPDPS works to ensure that workers on digital platforms are free from exploitation and discrimination, that they can work in safe and healthy working conditions, and are paid a fair wage. The LPDPS makes recommendations to public authorities and seeks to promote workers’ solidarity.
At the moment it mainly organises food delivery couriers and ridehail drivers (Bolt, Wolt, Last Mile and Uber), but they have started organising tutors working remotely on digital platforms and they aim to represent all platform workers in Lithuania.
The LPDPS website can be accessed here.
