Working group talks continue between the employment ministry and the social partners about the transposition of the Platform Work Directive.
Denmark held an election in March 2026 and no government has been formed yet following the election. This is likely to delay the process of a Platform Work Directive law being finalised.
Unions are pursuing a minimum implementation of the Directive, in line with retaining Denmark’s industrial relations model where working conditions are primarily resolved via collective bargaining.
